There have been mixed reports on whether Kate Middleton and Prince William are friendly with their sister-in-law Meghan Markle.
Some claim she is one of Kate’s besties and they share a ‘special bond’, while others say, ‘they hate each other’s guts’ and their relationship ‘is a hotbed of jealousy, backstabbing at ego.’
And according to body language expert Louise Mahler, looking at Kate’s recent behaviour towards Meghan at Princess Eugenie’s wedding, there might be some element of frostiness between the pair.
“The concern for me is that William and Kate (and Kate in particular), just pretend Megan does not exist,” Louise commented.
“One assumes, they are not hitching their wagon to her as she is too high a risk.
This shows in their complete lack of engagement with Meghan, despite her looking to them often for approval and a fixed smile,” she added.
Reports have previously claimed that Kate was unhappy as soon as she found out Harry was marrying Meghan.
GLOBE claims the royal feud exploded when Harry and Meghan announced their engagement, leaving the royal women to become neighbours.
‘Kate was shocked to see some of Meghan’s sex scenes from her TV series Suits, and was just as horrified as the Queen when Meghan wore a daring top for her engagement photos,’ the source tells.
And with Harry’s marriage, Kate was terrified he was making the wrong decision!
‘Kate adores Harry and wants him to have the family he’s always dreamed of,’ says a palace insider. ‘But, she’s worried he’s fallen for Meghan for all the wrong reasons.’
