Princess Eugenie has put her summer holidays in Balmoral on hold for a very special cause.
On Thursday, July 18, the daughter of the Duke of York and Sarah Ferguson surprised royal watchers when she carried out an engagement at Westminster Abbey all for a cause very close to the young royal’s heart – combatting modern slavery.

The young philanthropist (who co-founded the Anti-Slavery Collective with friend Julia de Boinville) met with US Ambassador-at-Large for Combating Trafficking in Persons, John Cotton Richmond, at the iconic royal church in London to raise awareness for the abolishment of modern slavery.
Eugenie looked simply gorgeous in an Alice & Olivia green dress with yellow floral print, which featured a risqué thigh-high split. Eugenie capped off the picturesque summer look with a pair of patent nude heels.
Following this engagement, Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are expected to travel to Scotland to join the Queen and Prince Philip in Balmoral for the summer holidays.
Princess Beatrice – Eugenie’s sister – is also expected to be in the highlands this summer, as the holiday has become a staple royal family tradition.
