Merry Gin-Mas! Christmas is right around the corner and if you’re wondering what on earth you’re going to bring to the family lunch or dinner, look no further than this festive Gin punch recipe.
With dry gin, lots of berries, sparkling wine and more, it’s the ideal refreshing beverage for this holiday season.
Ingredients
Method
To make berry ice cubes, cut strawberries into quarters. Divide half among two x 12-hole ice cube trays. Fill with raspberry soft drink. Freeze. Reserve remaining strawberries in a covered container in the fridge.Â
Up to 1 hour before serving, combine raspberries, lime, gin, apple juice and reserved strawberries in a large serving jug. Cover and refrigerate to chill.
Just before serving, add lemonade, rose and berry ice-cubes. Serve immediately.Â
TIP! Make the ice cubes the day before serving. For a less sweet option, replace lemonade with soda water. If you don’t have a large serving jug, use a large bowl instead.Â
Please remember to drink responsibly. If you or someone you know needs help, please call the National Alcohol and Other Drug hotline 1800 250 015 or call Lifeline on 13 11 14.Â
