In tonight’s episode of The Voice, Delta Goodrem stole Jesse Teinaki from Guy Sebastian’s team, but it turns out that the young singer might not be to torn up about changing teams.
Yep, speaking to New Idea, Jesse revealed that he had a crush on Delta growing up.
“Growing up you always saw Deltas music videos and saw how well she was doing,” he says.
“She was this famous lady in the limelight, so I think growing up as a young muso in Australia everyone’s got a bit of an eye on Delta.”
Now, Jesse will get to work closely with Delta as he prepares for The Battles after she decided to save him.
Guy and Delta both decided to press their button to save Chiddy, but he chose to stay on Team Guy.
Just when Jesse thought it was all over for him, Delta hit her button and shouted out, “wait, I still have a save. What about if I save Jesse?”
Everyone was unsure if this was against the rules, but after it was decided it was allowed, Delta couldn’t hide her excitement to have Jesse on her team.
“Jesse I am looking forward to coaching you on my team,” she gushed.
