Former Bachelor In Paradise Australia intruder Grant Kemp has explosively opened up about his time with new Bachelorette Ali Oetjen, claiming her behaviour under the influence of alcohol was “troubling.”
Speaking to WHO, Grant says: “When we were on the show, they limited our alcohol consumption so nobody ever got as drunk as they would if they went out on a Friday night with all their friends.”
“I never actually saw Ali drunk until the first time I visited her in Adelaide and we had been wine tasting all day with all of her friends. We ended up at a bar in Adelaide somewhere with one of her good friends and she was just getting really drunk.
“Then, all of a sudden in the middle of the bar, she just goes out of nowhere, ‘Hey, watch this,’ and I looked over and she had a glass with gin and tonic in her hand and in the middle of the bar she punches the glass out of her own hand and the drink flies on everyone and she just starts laughing like nothing is wrong.
“I was like, ‘Are you joking? You really just did that in the middle of a bar. We should go.’ That’s pretty bad. I was completely embarrassed.”
Grant also spilled to WHO the shocking relationship history between Ali and her ex-fiancé – who broke up just before Bachelor In Paradise.
“Ali had been engaged for, like, three months before going on Bachelor in Paradiseso once the show finished I asked her to explain the situation, like why did they break up,” Kemp says. “She kind of ended up accidentally spilling to me that she had met her ex fiancé because she used to have sex with his older brother [prior to meeting her ex].”
Kemp, who appeared on the US version of Bachelor in Paradise in 2017, says Oejten’s confession was a “red flag.”
“I was like, ‘Are you joking? You were sleeping with this dude’s older brother and now you’re going to marry him?”
Earlier this year, following the Bachelor In Paradise finale where Ali and Grant professed their love for one another, the two moved to Grant’s home in LA where things took an unexpected turn.
The Bachelor In Paradise star spoke exclusively to New Idea about the moment he caught the blonde reality star cheating on him…with his best friend!
“I don’t understand why she would do something like that,” a confused Grant said at the time.
“She definitely had me fooled, that’s for sure.”
Ali previously claimed that her American lover had only dated her for fame and she was left heartbroken after their steamy relationship came to an end.
However, Grant reveals it was actually him who called time on their relationship in March, after he caught her in a passionate tryst with his best friend – in his own home – just days after she landed in LA to start their new life together.
