In another explosive episode of The Bachelor, Tenille Favios has waved goodbye to Nick Cummins after she left the mansion during the cocktail party.
But, the reality star has revealed to New Idea that there is a lot more that goes on when the camera’s stop rolling. In fact, she admits that when things started to heat up with Nick, the producers stepped in.
Did anything more than a kiss ever take place between you and Nick?
Oh Christ, no! You don’t spend that much time alone. You share a kiss and the next thing you know, you’ll open your eyes and the producer will be there saying, ‘look guys, it’s time to wrap it up and start your interviews.’ There is no time for anything else. It is so weird, there goes the romance.
Did you have feelings for Nick at that point?
I did really like him and I expressed to him that I had those feelings. I said that there was potential outside of the show, but I didn’t see me getting to the end of the show to let that happen. I just accepted it and called a spade a spade and wanted to leave.
There was lots of drama this season surrounding Cat and Romy. What was the vibe like once they left?
It was a breath of fresh air. You didn’t feel like you were walking on egg shells and you could relax. We always knew they were conspiring and I felt like lots of things were pre planned with them and we were all waiting for them to bring it out.
Did you think they were there for the right reasons?
In the house, I never questioned their reasons for being there, but after listening to their interviews, they have basically said they weren’t. Cat and Alisha very early on said they weren’t attracted to Nick, so perhaps they came into it with the right intentions. But, I think there came a point where they knew nothing would happen with Nick and they stuck it out to make my life a misery. Somewhere along the way their intentions got lost and they weren’t there for the right reasons.
Do You think Cass knows Nick a bit better than she led on?
Look, to be honest, I don’t care how well she knows him. If she wants to share it, great, if she doesn’t then that’s also fine, but I like seeing them together, I think they are great. She is a genuine girl who is wearing her heart on her sleeve. That needs to be appreciated more.
What do you girls do in the house when the cameras stop rolling?
I just did my own thing, I would cook or tan by the pool. We would all sit down and watch movies in the lounge room, it was pleasant behind the scenes. If you weren’t getting along with someone you could find somewhere to sit and have your own time.
Are you dating anyone now?
My love life is very flat right now, I haven’t even gone on a date.
