Shannon Baff was Nick Cummins’ first pick for a single date on last year’s The Bachelor, and this time around the lively blonde scores the first date card in Paradise, too.
But after Jimmy practically begs her to take him on the first date, it’s Paddy who’s the chosen one to share in her date.
Much to everyone’s surprise!
Doesn’t take long for Cat’s claws to come out.
“It’s Shannon, getting the first date card, round two. I just feel like… she has it very easy all of the time, she comes on The Bachelor and gets the first date, she comes here and all the guys adore her, it’s like ‘heyyy… what about the other ones?’” she complains.
While taking it in her stride is Alisha who has a soft spot for Paddy: “Bloody Shazza stole my man!” she exclaims, laughing. “Bloody Shaz!”
Despite their romantic date complete with a Fijian choir, sparks don’t fly between them.
But there is a kiss… so there’s some hope?
Seems not.
“I think that might be as far as it goes for me, so, ya know,” said Shannon.
It was no big deal for Paddy, either.
“Let’s be honest, you’re in the friend zone. Unlucky! Jog on,” he shrugged.
At least Alisha was happy it didn’t pan out with the pair. “I’m like, ‘winning!’, back in it, me and Paddy love story, here we come!” she exclaimed.
