Mary was greeted by the Mayor of Helsinki, Jan Vapaavuori, and Deputy Mayor Annie Sinnemaki in a welcoming ceremony held at the city hall in the Finnish capital.
The Australian-born royal opted to wear a single colour to keep her look neat and impressive. She left her hair in a freshly blow-dried tousle which gave her overall look a casual edge. The mother-of-four even matched her shoes and handbag to finish up the completely tonal look.
Mary is currently in Finland on a two-day trip without her husband Prince Frederik. She is visiting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Finland and Denmark.
The purpose of her trip is to further strengthen the commercial cooperation between the two Nordic countries. While in Helsinki, she will discuss city development and cooperation on green, innovate urban solutions before heading to Turku on the west coast of Finland.
On the afternoon of the first day of her trip, Mary made a stop at the Nordic Food Event at The Danish Residence, where she was able to sample a local tipple.
