CAUGHT OUT: Prince Charles snaps at Princess Anne at garden party

Prince Charles has stepped in to the Queen’s shoes by hosting a garden party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Scotland. Accompanying him were wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and sister Princess Anne. SEE THE GARDEN PARTY BELOW
And while the event eventually went off without a hitch, things seemed to get off to a tetchy start when a stern-faced Charles was photographed appearing to snap at his sibling. Anne then fell back to a few paces behind her brother.
‘He appeared to have a go at her,’ says an onlooker. ‘Something got his goat.’

The event was a success, with Charles, Camilla and Anne greeting attendees at the historic residence.
Charles will have to step up more, as he moves in to make more of his mother’s roles.

The monarch has recently slowed down, handing some of her patronages over to Prince William, Prince Harry and Kate Middleton.
Charles hosts 500 engagement last year - more than both his sons, William and Harry, combined.
