Pink, 37, last week opened up about her secret heartbreak, revealing how six-year-old daughter Willow had been bullied at school and was struggling with low self-esteem – referring to herself as ‘the ugliest girl she knew’.
Pink revealed that Willow’s shame and sadness left her furious, but prompted her to deliver a powerful and inspiring message.
She revealed she taught Willow to embrace her own beauty in an empowering speech, prompting a wave of support from mums around the world.
‘She’s the best mum EVER!’ one supporter commented on social media, while another wrote: ‘Pink for President!’
‘I don’t take well to bullying, I never have,’ she told E! News. ‘I’m not a person that will be bullied. I’m not a person that will stand by watching other people bullied.
She notes that her war against haters has helped build strength and character over the years.
She adds: ‘Unless you’ve been dragged through the dirt, then it really doesn’t end up being worth it when you get to the top, right?’
