After a star-studded few weeks of blind auditions, callbacks, battle rounds, and sing-offs, our superstar judges have selected their final four for the 2023 season The Voice Australia.
Comprised of top Aussie talent that has already blown our judges (and audiences tuning in from home) away, it’ll be a tough final road ahead for our wannabe winners.

Last year, team Rita took home the win with sportsman turned singer-songwriter superstar Lachie Gill.
But this time around Guy and Jess are determined to let a “local” team win.

“We need to bring the crown back home to home turf,” Guy emphatically said during the blind auditions.
“It’s like the Ashes – doesn’t belong in England, belongs right here,” he then joked.

Team Jason – Ethan Beckton
When it came to selecting who from his team he would be taking through to the finale, there was only one name that came to mind – Ethan Beckton.
“Ethan, you surprise us every single time with knowing who you are as an artist,” he told the singer.
Guitarist Ethan said that his debut single Lighthouse “held a special meaning to [him] as an artist.”
“The track speaks to coming out of a bad place and finding the light. Working alongside the amazing producers who supported my ideas made the song even more special,” he said.

Team Rita – Tarryn Stokes
The tough decisions continued for coach Rita as the time came for her to select whether Tarryn or Emily would be continuing to the finale. Ultimately it was Tarryn who sealed the deal.
“Tarryn, it’s one thing to have a technically perfect vocal, but you back it up with emotion, authenticity, like no one I’ve ever seen.”
“And so the artist that I’m taking through to the Grand Finale is someone that I believe is at the right place at the right time and can win this show…it’s you Tarryn,” she continued.
The powerhouse vocalists described her debut single Nobody as “more than just a breakup song.”
“To me, it is about breaking up with the things or people in your life that are no longer good for you. Listening to your inner voice and being confident when speaking out, singing out. I hope it resonates and encourages everyone who listens,” she said.

Team Guy – Charlie Pittman
In the Semi Finale coach Guy had the difficult decision of choosing just one singer to take through to the finale – selecting Charlie Pittman and sending Bella Mackenzie home. between Bella and Charlie.
“Charlie, having to overcome some personal heartache, I know that’s something that wasn’t easy for you,” Guy began.
“But you honoured your dad’s wishes and you went so far,” he continued. The artist that I’m taking through to the Grand Finale….it’s you, Charlie.”
Reflecting upon his debut single Stone Cold, Charlie said that he was thrilled to have leaned into previous songwriting skills.
“I was fortunate enough to add to the track and work with two incredible producers. The song is about trying to let go of a relationship in the kindest way for both sides. Still having love for someone but knowing that the best way to move forward is to cut it off,” he said.

Team Jess – Ezra Williams
Coach Jess had no easy task when it came to choosing either Ezra or David to progress to the final stage of the competition.
Sadly for David, it was Ezra who was chosen for the spot in the finale.
“Ezra, time and time again you have shown us what a powerhouse you are,” the 34-year-old coach told the singer passionately before telling her she would be progressing forward.
Ahead of the finale, the R&B singer released her debut single Mistake.
“This song represents struggle, mistakes you make, challenges you need to accept, and owning and overcoming them. Life teaches us to make mistakes, if you don’t make them, how do you grow?m,” the singer said of the song.

With such an incredible roster of hopeful winners, it’s hard to predict who will take out the title of The Voice Australia in 2023! But, we have a little insight into the current fan-favourite.
According to the latest Sportsbet odds, someone from Team Guy is predicted to win – with odds of $1.65 set against him to take out the top spot.
Jason, Jess, and Rita follow (in that order). But who knows? Anything could happen as The Voice continues on our screens.
