Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp are headed to the altar, according to a US report.
The National Enquirer reports today the Sleepless in Seattle actress, 55, and her 66-year-old rocker beau are secretly engaged.
Insiders quoted by the US magazine reveal they’ll seal the deal over the Christmas holidays.
This will crown a happily-ever-after ending for the pair, who are said to have split twice in recent years before getting back together a few months ago.
“The third time really is the charm for Meg and John,” an insider told The Enquirer. “They plan to make things official with a quiet civil service during the Christmas Holidays!”
It was added, “They’ve never been closer – and given their history, that’s saying something. They’ve had their problems. But they always knew that they’d wind up together!”
