America’s National Enquirer has revealed details about the woman who is allegedly carrying Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s baby – igniting debate about why the super-wealthy couple are allegedly only paying her a ‘relative pittance’ to give birth to their child.

According to the publication’s sources, Kim and Kanye – worth a total of $335 million – are said to be ‘only’ paying her $75,000, plus medical expenses and a monthly allowance of $4,500. But she’ll get $2,000 more if she gives birth by cesarean, and an additional $5,000 if she gives birth to twins.
Even though this is a substantial escalation on the figure quoted by TMZ (below) – $45,000 – the couple are still copping heat for allegedly not spending big enough.
According to the magazine, the couple’s joy turned to fear when their surrogate suffered a complication and nearly lost the baby.
“It was scary,” a source tells The Enquirer. “The doctors put her on best rest.” She has since recovered and “the pregnancy is going well.”
The woman is reportedly a married 27-year-old mum-of-two who has been a surrogate for another couple once before.
“They chose a woman with experience,” the source says. “This isn’t her first surrogacy. She did it in 2014, and everything went great. She actually became a poster girl for the company.
“She’s watched all of the [KUWTK] shows, and Kim’s vanity was touched when she found out. When Kim and Kanye invited her to their house in L.A. to meet for the first time, it was a surreal moment.”
The star couple have yet to officially respond to the Enquirer‘s report.
