The plot that has got the user so hooked involves four animal characters, voiced by Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer and Jada Pinkett Smith, taking a European detour while battling their way back to the zoo.

Australia was found to be the eight highest ranking in ‘binge racing’ out of 190 studied countries, flying through series like the Gilmore Girls reboot and Marvel’s The Defenders.

Netflix coined the phrase ‘binge racing’ for fans who speed through a new season of a show within 24 hours of its release, and Australians near among the fastest watchers of hit shows in the world.

Netflix recently revealed that New Year’s Day is the biggest streaming day of the year, with drama series Greenleaf being one of the most watched shows and Stranger Things the most-watched show for families.
