It turns out you might have been using your strainer wrong.
A pasta-draining tip making the rounds on Twitter is blowing people’s minds.

It’s safe to assume that most people place their strainer in the sink, pouring the contents of their pot into it.

Apparently, there’s an easier way. Simply, place the strainer into the pot and pour the excess liquid down the sink.
