The Hundred with Andy Lee is returning to Channel 9 and 9Now this July, including an exciting Olympic-themed special episode full of fun and laughter!
The episode will air on Tuesday, July 23 at 8 pm, just days before the Olympics officially begin on July 26.
Showcasing top comedians and 100 everyday Aussies, the Olympic special will connect various people across the country via Zoom as they discuss topics that truly resonate with Australians.
On the panel are Mike Goldstein (USA), Kate Langbroek (Australia) and Guy Williams (NZ) and special guest, “Lethal Leisel” Jones, a three-time gold medalist who competed in four Olympic Games.
“My hair colour has changed that many times I’m not certain The Hundred will even know who I am. Any blonde swimmer is interchangeable, so I can be Susie O’Neill or Libby Trickett. Hopefully, Kate, Guy, and Mike can tell the difference between us all,” Leisel said.
This time, Andy and the comedians are going all out in the show’s first-ever national showdown, just in time for Channel 9’s Olympic and Paralympic broadcasts.
The competition is set to uncover who truly understands Australian culture and its quirks. They are set to dive into interesting topics, such as how many Australians have rushed onto a sports field and what people think about Nick Kyrgios…
The episode will include various segments such as Match Em and This or That. Match Em will reveal four rising sports stars, and in This or That, they’ll debate interesting topics such as whether walking should be classified as a sport.
The Australian comedy panel television game show has been airing since 2021 and has already produced a total of six seasons. The series has been quite popular over the years!
You can watch all seasons for free on 9Now right now or wait until July 23 to tune in for the special Olympics episode!
