Aussie TV favourite Sylvia Jeffreys was left red faced on Monday after an awkward Instagram selfie fail.

The 33-year-old presenter, who is currently enjoying a trip to the Gold Coast, was caught out when she posted a selfie to her 226k followers.
In the snap, a smiling Sylvia is seen wearing sunnies and clutching a coffee cup… while in the background, a bewildered woman looks on disapprovingly.
“TFW you realise your quick, discrete selfie was actually not so discrete (pinch zoom) 🤦🏼♀️ #smoked #shegotme#betterlucknexttime” she captioned the fun pic.
Sylvia, who now works as a reporter on Channel Nine’s A Current Affair met her husband Peter Stefanovic, 37, while they were working on the Today Show together.
The pair tied the knot in April 2017.
