Sophie Monk has broken down after coming under fire for eliminating hot favourite, James Trethewie from The Bachelorette last night.
The star appeared live on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show to talk about the shock elimination and ended up in tears after defending her choices on the popular reality show.
Monk, who is currently in Thailand with best friend, Oscar Gordon said over the phone to Kyle and Jackie O: ‘I can’t even tell you, I’m so upset. I can’t read it’
‘You can only delete a certain amount but I don’t think viewers realise, I can’t choose everyone. I’ve got to choose one.’
The 37-year-old star went on to say the dating show has been more challenging than she first anticipated.
Monk added: ‘I can’t make everyone happy — I’ve got to make me happy.’
‘I know, he [James] came off amazing. But you’ve got to understand also, there’s a lot cut out.’
There were no hard feelings though, as Monk took to Instagram following the show to wish James well and even added a little joke to lighten up the mood.
‘James is the perfect gu, unfortunately, I’m not the perfect person for him. He is organised, together and tidy. I’ve dated a guy like him before and I’d do his head in 🙄. He’ll find a better girl than me x @jimmys.paradise.’
