But Kris Smith has revealed that his insecurities, which stem from being a ‘heavy’ youngster, led to the demise of his relationship with Dannii Minogue – the mother of his five-year-old son, Ethan.
The 38-year-old was filmed telling fellow jungle contestant Nat Bassingthwaighte, ‘Do you know what, I think I’ve ruined a lot of them.
‘[I was] just insecure and jealous. Not anymore, [but] I was because I was insecure – I never believed I was good enough.’
The model continued, ‘I was really short and heavy as a kid. I always still see that. With age and growing up, I always had that little demon in my head that I was still that little fat kid.’
Kris also dated fellow model Maddy King for four years after his relationship with Dannii ended.
The pair called it quits last year.
