She was once one of Australia’s most popular TV stars. But former Hey Hey It’s Saturday legend Jacki McDonald is happy to stay out of the limelight now.
The Brisbane star, who left the show back in 1988, briefly returned to the spotlight back in 2009 when Hey Hey was making a comeback, but she was never tempted to step into a more permanent role with the show.
The star is now a regular show business commentator on Brisbane radio, but tends to keep out of the public glare – last seen here at celebrations for friend Molly Meldrum’s 50 years in music.
