They fell in love on last year’s The Bachelorette, and earlier this year, Lee came clean about his proposal plans.
‘I’ve already started saving for the ring!’ the 36-year-old Melbourne plumber admitted to another publication.
But now, one of Georgia, 29, and Lee’s closest friends, former The Bachelorette contestant Cameron Cranley, reveals the loved-up couple are actually nowhere near walking down the aisle.
‘As much as the hype has been built up, I don’t think [the engagement’s] going to be in the near future, ‘ Cam, who has been working with Magnum on their new range of ice cream pints, admits to New Idea.
Previously, Georgia revealed Cam would be the only guy from the reality dating show invited to her and Lee’s wedding, but he will not be advising Lee on the engagement ring.
‘I think Lee has better taste than I do, so no!’ he confirms.
