We’re wishing Channel Nine star Erin Molan a speedy recovery after reports broke stating she had been rushed to hospital on Friday after collapsing at work.
The pregnant star – who is four months along with her first child – was taken to Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital after fainting and hitting her head, The Daily Telegraph reports.
Tests revealed The Footy Show star had a low blood sugar count which had caused her to faint.
Thankfully, further investigations revealed her unborn child was unaffected by her sudden illness.
The publication also reports that Erin’s fiancé, Sean Oligvy immediately rushed to be by her bedside.
The Daily Telegraph claimed Erin may have skipped breakfast in order to make her flight from Canberra, after she flew to the capital to watch her father Jim Molan make his maiden speech in the senate on Wednesday.
Nine’s director of sport Tom Malone said Erin’s ‘health and the baby is our No. 1 priority’.
‘Whatever steps need to be taken, if it means slowing down, we’ll ensure that happens. We’ll keep an eye on it,’ he told News Corp.
