On Sunday, Brooke Shields and her youngest daughter Grier Hammond Henchy, aged 12, were spotted having a mother-daughter outing at the Hampton Classic Horse Show in New York.
The 53-year-old actress wore a black patterned dress with a black and was spotted planting a kiss on the cheek of her tween who wore a striped, off-the-should dress.
Shields also has a second daughter, 15-year-old Rowan Francis, who she parents alongside husband Chris Henchy.
Back in May, Shields gushed to PEOPLE on how her daughters help her self-esteem by saying, “My daughters have especially helped me feel confident.”
The celebrity mother also shared that finding the balance between giving her daughters freedom and smart parenting was difficult for her.
“You don’t want to overprotect them and then they have no armour – so it’s a balance”
