Bella Thorne has made her directorial debut with a short film for Pornhub. Yes, Pornhub.
The 21-year-old former Disney actress has released a behind the scenes clip with Pornhub, talking about the short, where she explains that it was initially meant to be a “Christmas horror movie,” but ultimately came out with Her & Him.
Bella discusses further her idea for the “beautiful, ethereal” short film in a behind-the-scenes video.

“What inspired me to do this movie was thinking about this relationship between a male and a female and this fight over dominance and how much that relates to us in our general world, besides just a sexual scenario,” she explains, sitting in her colourfully decorated home.
“My vision behind the story was basically creating these two dynamic characters that could switch off between dominant and submissive.
“My initial idea was to create a Christmas horror movie, but instead I made a beautiful, ethereal film.”
The Shake It Up star described how eye-opening it was being on set of a porn movie for the first time.
“The process of shooting was quite interesting because we had real-life f***ing on set…. which I had never shot before. At all.
“Also, this was my first short in general so it was quite an interesting experience. It was an interesting experience to have the first thing I’ve really directed to have so much sex in it, you know, it is quite a fun environment.”
Bella Thorne further raves about the porn-streaming website, Pornhub, for wanting to work with her.
“I’m lucky that Pornhub came on and produced this with me. They believed in my vision and weren’t scared to jump in with me.”
The short porn film has quite a dark theme to it, with one teaser scene showing actress Abella Danger tells her male co-star, “We’ve had some good sex, but now I’m going to rip you apart. Limb from limb”.
“At the end of the day, it is sex, and that is something that the human body wants, it needs, it constantly craves for it,” Thorne explained.
“It’s just a very understandable thing and if you’re scared of it that’s fine, each to their own, but don’t tear somebody else down because they’re comfortable with their sexuality and they’re okay to admit that.”
Bella’s new career direction comes shortly after the star was embroiled in a nude photo leak. After being threatened by a mystery person to leak illicit photos of herself, Thorne made the decision to beat them to the punch, leaking them herself.
However, Whoopi Goldberg slammed her on The View and Thorne’s response was highly emotional.

“F**k u and the power u think you have over me,” Thorne initially tweeted, displaying the screenshots of text messages sent from the alleged hacker, along with the incriminating photos. “I’m gonna write about this in my next book.”
The star also uploaded a lengthy description of what happened and how it all came out, ultimately deciding to take the power back in her own hands and release the images herself.
“For the last 24 hours I have been threatened with my own nudes I feel gross, I feel watched, I feel someone has taken something from me that I only wanted one special person to see,” she wrote.
“For too long I let a man take advantage of me over and over and I’m f***ing sick of it, I’m putting this out because it’s MY DECISION NOW U DONT GET TO TAKE YET ANOTHER THING FROM ME. I can sleep tonight better knowing I took my power back. U can’t control my life u never will.”
“In other words here’s my boobies,” she wrote.
“So here f**k u, and the last 24 hours I have been crying instead of celebrating my book while doing my book press. Oh yea, the fbi will be at your house shortly, so watch. your Mother. F***in. Back.”
