Samantha Armytage is officially stepping into a new role on Farmer Wants A Wife Australia. The former Sunrise star is taking on hosting duties on the new season of the regional reality TV show.

Seven months after her departure from Sunrise, it was announced that Sam would be heading back to Channel Seven screens as a special guest on beloved dating show Farmer Wants A Wife 2022.
In 2023, Sam is taking over hosting duties from long-time Farmer Wants A Wife star Natalie Gruzlewski – who has hosted the series on and off since 2007.
“It’s a real honour to be the host this season,” Sam reveals of her new gig.
“I loved getting to know all our gorgeous farmers. And I was so impressed by these women, who hope to make their lives in the country.”

“My job is to introduce them and then try to guide them through the highs and lows of this journey to find true love. Oh, and also guide them through country life.”
With Sam stepping into the role of “host,” Natalie is taking a step down to “co-host” for the new season. Despite the change, Natalie says she is excited to return.
“This is my 13th season and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it,” Natalie reveals. It’s an incredible privilege to help people find love, especially for the farmers and women who have suffered through heartbreak or found the dating world difficult to navigate.”
Both Sam and Natalie have shared that this is the ultimate Farmer Wants A Wife season: with all five farmers finding love.
“This is a huge season. For the first time, all five farmers find love, so I’m feeling very happy about my match making skills,” Sam says.
“This is the first time all our farmers found love, it’s an incredible outcome,” adds Natalie.
“I could see the sparks flying everywhere and I knew love was on the cards. It’s the little things that give it away: looking at someone and an instant smile comes up, a reassuring hand reaches out at the right time.
“I sound like a broken record but it’s honestly always exciting to watch true love unfold.”
