MAFS 2024: Jack Dunkley's shock scandal revealing secret girlfriend

Married At First Sight Australia’s Jack Dunkley, 34, has solidified himself as the ‘villain’ of this season.

Since Jack’s ‘secret girlfriend’ scandal was revealed at the first dinner party of MAFS 2024, further allegations have been made by Jack’s “disgruntled” ex-girlfriend, Courtney Jade.

Courtney recently posted an Instagram story claiming that she and the personal trainer “slept” together after filming ended.

“When he says he’s into his wife but he comes home and sleeps with me and proceeds to break my heart again,” she wrote on Instagram.

“I shouldn’t have done it but I did, not knowing the disrespect or outcome of this show, lessons were learned. Tori knows and doesn’t care,” she continued.

In an effort to defend his character yet again, Jack appeared on breakfast radio with the hosts of Mix94.5, Pete and Kymba, revealing his truth about the lingering ex rumours.

Jack said the claims reporting he slept with his ex during the show’s production, are “completely false.”

“I knew this girl for 12 weeks, I matched her on Tinder,” he said.

Jack has been open about his relationship with Courtney on MAFS, having shared with the other contestants and his wife Tori, that the relationship was “very casual yet exclusive.”

The former couple’s romance came to light very early in the experiment when an article arose in which Courtney claimed Jack had “dumped” her to go on MAFS.

“Breaks up with me right after I met his family and he told me he loves me. Tells me it’s for [a] ‘work opportunity in America’ only to find out he’s on MAFS in Sydney,” Courtney wrote on The Wash’s Instagram.

“It’s all out of context,” Jack said, defending himself when the claims broke out.

“She fell harder for me quicker and she’s thrown me in front of the bus, but I’m still not going to go there [and share information about her].”

Jack was quick to defend himself, later appearing on Today Extra with hosts David Campbell and Sylvia Jefferys, admitting to breaking up with his ex by telling her he was “going overseas for a few months.”

“I can assure you when I was applying for MAFS to get married. In my opinion, I was not in a serious relationship at all whatsoever. So yeah…”

Daily Mail Australia has reported that Courtney was left distressed after seeing his marriage play out on TV.

“It’s been a very hard time in my life. One that I don’t wish on anyone,” she allegedly told Daily Mail.

“I hope this doesn’t continue to happen to other people. It was a horrible experience and not something I want to talk about.”

Yahoo Lifestyle revealed that Jack seemingly regretted how he handled the situation at the dinner party.

“Once filming had wrapped and he’d reflected on it, Jack reached out to Courtney, apologised and gave her a heads up this would all be airing on the show and repeatedly brought up throughout the season,” an insider told Yahoo Lifestyle.

“When confronted by the cast, Jack got defensive by default, but once he realised how this would impact Courtney, he wanted to reach out. It was all too little, too late for Courtney though, who doesn’t want to speak to him and is apprehensive about being dragged into his storylines.”
