Sarah Ferguson is feeling the full weight of her royal exile — and by all accounts, she is not coping well.

The former Duchess of York, 66, is said to feel “incredibly betrayed” by the Royal Family following the fallout from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

In emails that surfaced in the latest release of Epstein files, Fergie referred to the convicted sex offender as her “dear spectacular and special friend” — a revelation that has done little to help her already fragile standing.

Now, an insider has told Heat World the situation has left her in a dark place.

“Sarah feels incredibly betrayed. Fergie’s very bitter, she’s angry and feels wronged by everyone in the family,” the source said.

“What people don’t see is just how low she’s sunk. Every time she opens a paper or goes online, it’s another reminder that she’s completely on the outside and there’s no real way back.”

King Charles has evicted both Fergie and her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, from the Royal Lodge, though, unlike her ex, Sarah was not offered an alternative royal residence.

Word is she has been sofa surfing, staying with wealthy friends while keeping a very low profile.

“Instead of dealing with it, she’s numbing it — and that’s only making everything worse,” the source added.

“It fuels a cycle where she starts ranting and then feels even more isolated the next day.”

Fergie appears to have all but vanished from public life ever since she and Andrew were stripped of their royal titles over their links to Epstein.

Rumours have been swirling that she has been spending time in New York, and with reports suggesting she is banned from staying with daughter Princess Eugenie, speculation has turned to some unlikely quarters.

One theory even placed her at the home of Priscilla Presley — though a spokesperson for Elvis’ widow was quick to shut that down, telling People the claims were “totally false”.
