Gable Tostee has been dumped by his Kiwi girlfriend who says he is ‘obsessed’ with his old celebrity lifestyle of partying, drinking and girls.
Lizzie Evans was Tostee’s girlfriend during the recent Brisbane Supreme Court murder trial which saw him acquitted of the murder of Warriena Wright in October.
Tostee’s trial received international attention after his tinder date, Wright, plummeted fourteen floors from Tostee’s Surfer’s Paradise apartment in August, 2014.
Evans broke off the relationship with the Gold Coast playboy just a couple of weeks ago stating that she was ‘frustrated’ by his behaviour leaving her ‘emotionally starved’.
‘We had hoped to begin a new chapter of life but he became resistant,’ she said.
‘I just had no more to give in the end but he seems (unfazed) as to be expected I suppose.’
Whilst Evans didn’t get into the specific details of why her relationship ended, she did make it clear that the split had nothing to do with the trial, but Tostee’s personal behaviour.
The pair were together for about a year, described as ‘an intense time with a lot of emotions obviously’
