The guessing panel made several stabs in the dark as to who could be the face under the mask throughout the season, including Jewel, Kim Petras, Holly Valance, and Delta Goodrem.

But according to fans, the identity of Snow Fox was someone else entirely, Glee actress and The Masked Singer US 2022 winner Amber Riley. Hilariously, however, they too were proved wrong!

Shortly after her on-screen unmasking, Dami told the judges, “It feels amazing to be out, but also, it’s kind of really great because I actually won X Factor here on this same stage 10 years ago. Exactly 10 years ago. I’m back here winning this.”

Dami also shared a heartwarming anecdote with guessing panel member Mel B, saying, “I came to Australia when I was nine years old. I didn’t speak a word of English, but I learned to speak by listening to Spice Girls songs.”

Explaining her decision to take part in the singing reality show, Dami told New Idea that everything in her life aligned and she was finally able to just “go for it.”

“It took a while to get used to singing under a very heavy mask, and at first I couldn’t even stand in it. I felt like I was going to faint after a few weeks I got more used to being under the mask, even though I still couldn’t see very well, so it was a big challenge trying to sing, and I think I got better at it over time, but it was still very restrictive.”

She also shared with us her relief at her secret finally being out, and what she would change about her time on the show if she was able to do her time again.

“Probably a mask that is less heavy to perform in and something that I could see better out of then I might have moved around the stage a little better and even performed more freely,” Dami said.
