The Block 2018: Grand Final results

Following a nail-biting episode.

It’s been three long months since The Block 2018 officially began its game-changing renovation of Melbourne’s Gatwick hotel in St. Kilda.

Now, it’s finally time for the always thrilling auctions – and seeing who’s hard work has earned them the title of Block winners. 

The amount each team wins depends on their reserve price, with anything over their reserve going into their winnings. 

The reserves were determined as:

Kerrie and Spence: 2,435,000
Bianca and Carla: 2,690, 000
Sara and Hayden: 2,475, 000
Courtney and Hans: 2,360, 000
Norm and Jess: 2,650, 000

Kerrie & Spence

The Barossa couple were first up in the auctions, and started off the night with a spectacular result. 

The couple’s apartment sold for $2.85m, $415,000 over reserve

Sara & Hayden

This outspoken couple became this year’s most controversial pair – and it appeared no different in this year’s finale. 

In an absolutely stunning result, Sara and Hayden’s apartment sold for $3.02m, a WHOPPING $545,000 over reserve.

Norm & Jess

This year’s loveable larrikins had high hopes for their penthouse apartment, expecting to bring it home for the “penthouse crew.”

However, right off the bat Norm and Jess were disappointed with the bidding. 

Eventually, the couple’s penthouse sold for $2.859m, leaving the Queensland battlers with a profit of $209,000

Bianca & Carla

The fellow penthouse reno stars were hoping for a big result.

The former netballer’s sold their apartment for $2.991, leaving them with $301,000 profit. 

Courtney & Hans

The loveable couple were the last of the bunch and had the lowest reserve making it a very nail-biting finale. 

The couple sold for $2,770,000, leaving them with $410,000.

That means Sara and Hayden are crowned Season 14 winners!
