Tortured former movie star Melanie Griffith has caused deep concern after pictures emerged of her looking worryingly skinny while out and about in West Hollywood, according to a shock report today in US publication The National Enquirer.
Sources tell the publication the former ‘Working Girl’ star, 60, has gone into a tragic “tailspin” since her split from Antonio Banderas in 2015.
“She needs to completely realign her thinking about her health if she wants to survive into old age,” Dr. Stuart Fischer, a diet and nutrition specialist (who doesn’t treat the actress himself) tells The Enquirer.
Melanie’s struggle with a longtime addiction to pills and, more recently, skin cancer, has been widely reported.
According to The Enquirer, Melanie’s self-esteem plummeted after her marriage to Antonio ended, and then after he began dating model Nicole Kimpel. 37, now his rumored fiancée.
“She’s feeling like yesterday’s leftovers,” reveals a source.
Melanie has yet to respond to The Enquirer‘s allegations.
