So far it seems like Elizabeth is way more into her marriage with Sam than the runaway groom.
However, reality TV podcast Real Talk with Holly & Ali can exclusively reveal that all is not it appears on the hit show.
Behind the scenes, Elizabeth tells Real Talk that she actually wanted to quit the second she found out Sam was leaving to attend his ex-girlfriend’s mum’s funeral in New Zealand.
“My stomach wants to throw up, I wanna run away right now,” she tells Real Talk, recalling the moment.
“Normally I would have aborted mission quite quickly.
“I wouldn’t normally do that in real life, that’s the really s***** thing. I would have been like, ‘Seeya later, I don’t like you, go away’. And it’s like, oh god, I’m having to try with someone I’m not getting a good gut feeling with.”
Elizabeth says the decision to stay in the experiment was “exceptionally hard”.
“In the real world, I would not put up with it,” she states.
