Meghan Markle and Catherine Middleton have made their first outing together – without their husbands – at Wimbledon.
The pair attended the Ladies’ Single Final at the Wimbledon Championships to support Meghan’s friend Serena Williams from the courtside as she competed against Angelique Kerber.
In a statement leading up to the event, the palace revealed: ‘The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC), and the Duchess of Sussex, will attend the Ladies’ Singles Final at The Championships, Wimbledon, on Saturday 14th July.
‘Prior to the start of the day, Their Royal Highnesses will meet a number of former Wimbledon Ladies Champions, as well as some of The Championships’ ball boys and ball girls, to hear more about their experiences of the tournament.’
