If you use a teaspoon to scoop up the mixture and roll into balls, you should get around 40 balls which are the perfect size for the kids and their lunchboxes. This is a great recipe to make over the weekend in preparation for the week ahead, as you can store them in an airtight container in your fridge for up to a week (although there is a strong chance they won’t last that long!). You can pop them into a freezer-safe container and store in your freezer for up to two months. There is no doubt that the kids will enjoy eating these yummy treats, but this also a really good recipe for them to give you a hand with, and older children should also be able to put this recipe together themselves (with supervision, of course!)  I like to roll our balls in desiccated coconut for some extra decoration, but you can also leave them as they are or even roll them in a little Milo powder as an extra-special treat. 4-ingredient Milo balls40 20 mins 1 hour 1 hour 20 mins
  • 250g packet plain biscuits (like Arnott’s Marie), finely crushed
  • 395g tin sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup (100g) desiccated coconut, plus 3/4 cup extra to coat
  • 1/3 cup (45g) Milo powder
    1. Place crushed biscuits into a large bowl. Add condensed milk, desiccated coconut and Milo powder and mix until well combined. 2. Use a teaspoon to scoop up the mixture and roll into balls. Roll the balls in the extra coconut and place on a plate. Repeat until all of the mixture has been used. 3. Place the Milo balls into the fridge for one hour to chill.
  • You can store these Milo balls for up to 7 days in an airtight container in your fridge.
  • These Milo Balls are also freezer-friendly.
  • You can use any type of plain biscuits for this recipe, but I used Arnott’s Marie biscuits.
  • If you don’t want to use a food processor, you can also crush the biscuits using a rolling pin.
