Bunnings has issued an urgent recall on a popular heater after fears it may cause a fire.
Today, the store released an urgent recall, citing ‘A potential manufacturing defect may cause the heater control panel to overheat, and in some cases to melt and catch on fire.’
The Moretti 11 Fin Oil Column Heater was available exclusively at Bunnings stores across Australia earlier this year.
If you have purchased one of the affected heaters, you should stop using it immediately and return it to your nearest Bunnings store where you’ll receive a full refund.
You’re looking for Batch Code 12/15 and OLN 9129.
This is the second time this heater has been recalled.
