We didn’t think there could be any shorter wedding than that of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, who made it to a total of 72 days married. Apparently, we were wrong.
A Saudi Arabian couple have called it quits after just TWO HOURS.
The groom decided to divorce his newlywed after she broke an agreement to stay off Snapchat.
According to accounts, the groom was so furious with the bride when he found out she had sent Snapchats to her friends from their wedding ceremony and reception, that he couldn’t stay married to her for a minute longer.
Saudi Arabia media outlets reported that before the ceremony commenced, the groom created a binding agreement with his future-wife, stating that she must stay off all social media on the day.
However, the bride just couldn’t resist.
The bride’s brother spoke to the Saudi media, saying: ‘There was a prenuptial agreement between my sister and her fiancé that she would not use social media applications such as Snapchat, Instagram or Twitter to post or send pictures. It was included in the marriage contract and became binding.’
‘Regretfully, my sister did not honor the pledge and used Snapchat to share pictures from the wedding ceremony with her female friends, resulting in the shocking decision by the groom to cancel their marriage and call for divorce,’ he continued.
The Saudi media also report the groom’s family support his decision to call of the marriage.
