Married At First Sight groom Danny Hewitt might have caused a stir on screen, but he’s set to raise eyebrows even more with his latest career move.
A real estate agent by trade, the 34-year-old is now turning his attention to a considerably more X-rated venture as he’s releasing an adult product.
After rumours swirled about a cheeky adult product inspired by his infamous nickname, “Danaconda“, Danny has set the record straight.
“It’s all a bit of fun,” Danny tells New Idea, confirming his cheeky product is in the works. “But there’s actually a serious side to it as well.”
Danny says his time on MAFS opened his eyes to how many people genuinely struggle with intimacy.
“You see it firsthand on the show,” he says.
“People have trouble connecting, communicating and keeping things exciting. It’s more common than people think.”
Now, Danny hopes to create a product line that brings a sense of fun and confidence back into people’s lives, without the stigma.
“I want it to be something that people can enjoy, whether they’re single or in a relationship,” he says.
“Something that helps people feel more comfortable and open, not embarrassed.”
Insiders say the idea is still in early development, with Danny taking a more thoughtful approach than fans might expect.
“He’s being really careful about how he positions it,” a source reveals.
“It’s not about shock factor anymore. It’s about making something that actually helps people.”
While the concept may have started as a joke, Danny insists he’s serious about getting it right.
“At the end of the day, if it helps people connect and have a bit more fun, then that’s a win,” he says.
His latest career move might not be a total surprise to MAFS viewers, given his best friend (and best man) is adult entertainer Will Parfitt.
Will accidentally caused a stir on Danny’s wedding day when bride Bec Zacharia revealed she knew who he was, and that he’d spent the night with her friend!
Will has become a social media sensation for his uncanny resemblance to Channing Tatum, and he works for the Magic Men show as a stripper.
Now, Danny appears to be getting more involved with his best mate’s business after finding TV fame on MAFS.
