Formerly known as Kate Fischer, Tziporah Malkah continues to make waves during her time on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! using her past relationship with James Packer as a frequent conversation topic.
Last night was no different as Tziporah opened up about how intimidating the legacy of her relationship with James is for many men.
‘Everyone is terrified of him and everyone compares themselves to him and a lot of men think that what I want, is money,’ Tziporah explained. ‘They didn’t realise I was in love with him and we actually had a real relationship. And actually, I’ve dated men that I’ve supported because they’ve been so broke.’
Tziporah also explained how her feelings work in relationships.
‘If I love someone I love someone,’ Tziporah said, while adding that her and James’s engagement ‘ruined everything.’
Curious about their relationship, fellow contestants Tegan Martin and Ash Pollard questioned whether infidelity played a part in the demise of their relationship.
‘It was a mixed bag,’ the 43-year-old revealed, and went on to explain that James wanted to ‘get serious’ with her and their relationship right away, but she was reluctant to.
‘I said there’s no point getting series with someone I won’t think about getting married to and I don’t want a marriage like your parents.’
Despite her reluctance to commit, Tziporah went onto explain how James wanted a ‘real partnership’ and completely swept her off her feet but that his relationship goals were ‘wishful thinking’.
‘You’ve got to actually put some action into it. If you’ve grown up with one thing but you want to be something completely different, things have to change. You have to change from within and he didn’t change from within,’ the former model said.
Tziporah also explained that after 20 years she was finally over her split with James. The couple split in 1998 after five years together.
