Property valuer Henry and video game designer Cade took home the LEGO trophy after building a depiction of the Greek God, Poseidon, but according to social media, an overwhelming majority of viewers believe the pair’s creation didn’t compare to that of David and Gerhard.

The oil riggers designed and constructed a moving theme park for their final build, a masterpiece which fans thought should have taken out top spot.

“#LEGOMastersAU is rigged David and G should have won,” slammed one Twitter follower.

Another accused judge Brickman and guest judge Fenella Charity of favouring Henry and Cade regardless of their work.

“RIGGED! The Russians colluded with Brickman. Oil riggers should have won.”

However Brickman told the teams that Henry and Cade’s work simply didn’t need movement like David and G’s to win.

“Multiple dimensions are happening at once – that’s really, really cool,” he said.

As for the winners themselves, the “super competitive” NSW fathers are “totally pumped” with their title and the $100,000 in prize money they’ve taken home.
