The Golden Globes is one of the most prestigious film and TV award ceremonies and this year, it was held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, a hotel that has been the location for some of the most memorable moments in Hollywood history.

Margot Robbie, Sarah Snook, and Elizabeth Debicki all got nods for an award.

Sarah Snook, who played Shiv in Succession, was nominated for best actress in a drama TV series.

Elizabeth Debicki was nominated for her portrayal of Princess Diana in The Crown, taking one of the four nominations.

Then of course there is our icon, Margot Robbie, who has been nominated for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her role in Barbie.

Greta Gerwig’s hit, Barbie, leads the nominees with nine nods… following close behind is Christopher Nolan’s drama, Oppenheimer, with a total of eight nominations.

Overall, it was a big success for our beloved Australian actresses at this year’s Golden Globes with both Sarah Snook and Elizabeth Debicki taking home acting awards and while Margot Robbie didn’t win an acting award, she still remained a winner for Barbie’s box office success.
