Monique Wright and Mark Beretta have taken over for the past few weeks as Sunrise hosts while David ‘Kochie’ Koch and Natalie Barr have taken some holiday time.
However, as their holiday comes to an end and they are scheduled to return to work on Monday, January 16, fans are sad to see Monique Wright and Mark Beretta leave. They have clearly done a great job of entertaining the viewers.

Fans have particularly gone wild for their Instagram videos. Monique Wright and Mark Beretta were filmed lip-syncing to Are You Having Any Fun by Elaine Stritch while dancing with other members of their team and the video quickly racked up over 20,000 views.
Fans commented on the video and begged the duo to stay on the show.
One commented, “Sunrise has been so good, plenty of laughs the last few weeks. A pleasure to watch”.
Another commented, “Please don’t leave us. This has been the best Sunrise team in a long time”.
One fan suggested, “PLEASE DON’T GO. Can’t the station change you two to the weekdays and Kochie and Nat to the weekend”.

While many complimented Monique and Mark, others also insulted David and Natalie.
“Such a great team, wish they were full time I’m going to miss them, glad I’m back to work don’t have to tolerate Nat and Kochie too long!! They seriously have to loosen up and stop taking themselves so seriously,” one person said.
Although Nat and Kochie don’t seem to be the most popular online, they are planning their return to TV next week.
