In good news for those who love all things cheesy, the chicken chain (aka Reds) are launching a limited-edition cheeseburger, which is set to be the cheesiest yet!
Of course, this wont just be your average cheeseburger — think crunchy chicken tenders, US-style smokey cheese sauce (exclusive to Red Rooster) and a slice of cheese, all tucked into a deliciously soft bun.
“We’ve had fans begging us for a cheesy burger, so we went big,” said Ashley Hughes, Red Rooster’s Director of Marketing. It seems to have paid off, because early testers have called it “next-level good” and likened it to “a full-blown cheese hug”.
For those who are true cheese devotees, there are more surprises: The Reds app (or redrooster.com.au) will now be offering Reds Exclusive items to VIPs. These cheesy exclusives are online-only creations that can’t be ordered at the counter.
Cheese lovers can look forward to items such as the bacon cheeseburger and cheesy loaded chips.
The bacon cheeseburger takes the new cheeseburger to another level with added bacon, while the cheesy loaded chips are loaded with chicken pops and the new smokey cheese sauce. Did someone say heaven?
Be sure to nab these cheesy delight while you can, because they won’t be around forever!
The Red Rooster Cheeseburger is available at Red Rooster restaurants nationally for a limited time only via Drive Thru, Dine In, Take Away and Click & Collect and Delivery, from July 2.
