Yep, the seven staff members are from a reported 27 Historic Royal Palaces employees who have left since 2015.

Kensington Palace is of course home to Prince William and Kate Middleton, however it is reported that the staff work for the palaces public side and not personally for the royal couple.

Of the 27 workers the Daily Mail claims that four members of staff at Kensington Palace resigned, while the other three were sacked.

Other staff members sacked include employees at The Tower of London, Hampton Court and Hillsborough Castle.

It is reported that of the 17 staff members who were sacked, one was dismissed for fraud, while two lost jobs for harassment. Other reasons include theft or failure to follow procedure.

“In common with all responsible employers, we have a performance framework and code of conduct in place to guide our staff to deliver the highest possible standards of service to our visitors,” a spokesperson for the Historic Royal Palaces charity told Daily Mail.

“As an organisation with over 1,000 employees, we occasionally need to instigate disciplinary proceedings when these standards are not met.

“This is always a regrettable, but thankfully rare occurrence. We are proud to hold Gold Investors in People status.”
