A very young royal fans has had a very special day!
While greeting the eager crowds at Melbourne’s Botanical Gardens, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry met one particular fan that had prepared something special for the pregnant duchess.
Fan account hrhofsussex shared an adorable picture of little Gavin, who had prepared Meghan a necklace for her arrival.
Holding a sign that read, “I made you a necklace”, Gavin beamed from ear to ear while holding up a black necklace with beaded embellishments.
The fan account then shared another image, this time with the Duchess of Sussex wearing the toddler’s creation.
While meeting another fan, Prince Harry had a little slip of the tongue and seemingly gave a clue as to what his first child might be named.
The duke and duchess stopped to play with five-and-a-half-month-old Harriet Bonaddido and chatted with her mother Jessica.
The 28-year-old said: “As soon as I introduced my daughter to Harry he said ‘that’s a great name’.
“Maybe they will choose it for their own child which would be fun.
“Meghan was right behind him and was playfully tickling her toes and said how sweet it was that I’d brought her out today.”
Another little one, 10-year-old Courtney Pistone, gifted Meghan a stuffed bear.
She said: “I gave it to her for the nursery. I thought it would be suitable because we didn’t know if it was a boy or a girl and both boys and girls like bears.”
