Yesterday, Queen Elizabeth II welcomed the King and Queen of Jordan to Buckingham Palace and the royals took a photo to mark the occasion.

But, the image has sparked a series of health concerns for the 92-year-old monarch as her hands appear purple and bruised.

The image was posted on the Royal Family’s twitter account and depicted The Queen, her daughter Princess Anne along with King Abdullah II, Queen Rania and their son, Hussein.

“Today The Queen, with The Princess Royal, hosted Their Majesties The King and Queen of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, @KingAbdullahII and @QueenRania, and their son The Crown Prince at Buckingham Palace,” they captioned the image.

Despite featuring a number of royals, all eyes were on The Queen’s hands!

“I love keeping up with Queen Eliabeth II but I’m concerned,” commented one user. “Why does she have such a terrible bruise on her left hand. Did I miss something? But as always, she looks stunning!”

“Look at Queen Elizabeth’s hands. They look red and bruised. Like someone was trying to find an artery,” another user wrote.

What’s more, this isn’t the first time The Queen has sparked health concerns.

Back in June last year, she pulled out of a morning service at St Paul’s Cathedral at the last minute due to a cold.
