NEED TO KNOW
- Princess Beatrice and Eugenie have been spotted looking tense in London with their husbands.
- Eugenie appeared emotional during a low-key birthday outing with Jack Brooksbank.
- Bea and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were seen leaving a sushi restaurant amid reports of growing distance.
- Insiders say the fallout from their parents’ past and recent royal scandals may be putting pressure on both marriages.
Their parents’ marriage ended in divorce back in 1996, and now, 30 years on, that history could be repeating itself for Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
Both royals were spotted out with their respective husbands in London last week, but Eugenie and Beatrice, 37, looked tense and distracted at times.
Eugenie even appeared to wipe away tears while sitting opposite her marketing executive husband, Jack Brooksbank, in The River Cafe, during a low-key outing at the restaurant for her 36th birthday on March 23.

“She seemed downcast and wiped her eyes, more than once,” an onlooker told New Idea.
A day earlier, Bea and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who is a property developer, were spotted leaving a sushi restaurant. While Bea managed a small smile as she left, while walking behind her stony-faced husband, her face took on a more serious demeanour shortly afterwards.

“Edoardo has been spending a lot of time on his business interests in Florida, and they haven’t been spending as much time together as Bea would like,” a royal insider tells New Idea.
Additionally, the Daily Mail reported “there has been a notable distance” between the pair in “recent months”.
The report also stated Edo “seems more and more distracted by work and travel, and just when Bea needs him the most, he has been pulling away”.
Edo, 42, returned to the UK just as chatter about his marriage increased.
“But things are still tense,” our insider adds.

There is mounting speculation that the sisters’ marriages could be buckling under the strain of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson’s involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. The former Duke and Duchess of York lost their royal titles over the association.
While their daughters have retained theirs, they are being iced out of top-tier royal events, even though they are not accused of any wrongdoing.
“At a time when they need their spouses more than ever, both Bea and Eugenie are fighting to shore up their marriages,” our source says.
Eugenie’s apparent public tears at the restaurant particularly raised eyebrows, because her bond with Jack, 39, was thought to be especially rock solid.
Adds our source, “This scandal has exploded a bomb in all of their lives – and only time will tell if both of Beatrice and Eugenie’s marriages can survive the fallout.”

Is Sarah Ferguson homeless?
Fergie is still struggling to secure a permanent new home, following her eviction from Royal Lodge. And according to the Daily Mail, even her own daughter is reluctant to accommodate her!
Eugenie and Jack “are resisting any suggestion [that Sarah] should come live with them”, the report stated.
“Sarah is difficult to live with, and they don’t want the responsibility of looking after her at the moment,” the story continued.
Fergie, 66, hasn’t been seen in public since December.
