Princess Anne had a peculiar look while speaking at an event in London yesterday.
The Princess Royal appeared to have purple hair when she stood at the podium to speak at the book launch for ‘Henry Poole & Co: The First Tailor of Savile Row.’
However, it was soon revealed to be an optical illusion due to her position from under a light.

In another photo from outside, her hair appeared to be her usual sensible brown shade.

Princess Anne was the ideal guest for the event, as Henry Poole & Co has produced livery for the royal family since 1869.
According to the Culture Trip, before entering the family tailoring business, the young Henry Poole had a best friend in Prince Bertie, son of Queen Victoria and heir apparent of the British Empire, who would go on to become King Edward VII.
The publication reported that the prince was one of the first people to wear a tuxedo under Henry Poole’s tailoring.
“It was completely revolutionary,” Simon Cundey, the current owner of Henry Poole & Co told Culture Trip in 2018.
“A short suit designed to enhance the silhouette of the body and flaunt the shape and contours.”

Known principally for its traditional bespoke tailoring for men, the house’s superb craftsmanship earned them the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in 2013.
Princess Anne presented the award to Mr Angus Cundey from Henry Poole & Co in the form of a crystal bowl engraved with the Queen’s Award Emblem.
