Prince William and Kate are the perfect couple, but, it has been claimed that before the couple met William was romantically linked to Camilla’s niece, Emma Parker Bowles.
Yep, you read that right! The bizarre news follows claims of an increasingly fraught connection between Wills and his step mum (see video below).
In his 2011 book “William and Catherine” biographer Andrew Morton reveals some of Williams early relationships including a flirtation with Emma.
Emma is the daughter of Richard Parker Bowles, the brother of the Duchess of Cornwall.
Their flirtation reportedly occurred back in 1999, when William was only 17 years old. And a source told Sunday People at the time, William was smitten.
“He was looking lovingly at Emma and she was hanging on his every word,” they said.
“Sometimes he gazes at her so adoringly that it becomes a bit embarrassing. He looks every inch a young man who is falling in love.”
Despite their romance didn’t work out, William and Emma are still good friends and Emma was even invited to his wedding to Kate.
Andrew also claims that William was linked to Alexandra Knatchbull, the great-granddaughter of Lord Mountbatten, Prince Philips uncle.
