Mother-to-be Meghan, who missed an engagement on Sunday to rest following a late Saturday night at the Invictus Games opening ceremony, has been told by Harry to make sure she is getting enough rest during the 16-day tour.

When they arrived in Queensland, Prince Harry took the barge to Fraser Island, while Meghan went on a whale watching boat.

The duchess appeared in good spirits as she waved to well-wishers on the marina.

Meghan was sporting a polka dot dressed that ties at the waist, along with large black sunglases and lace-up sandals.

Meghan’s dress is very similar to that of Kate Middleton’s over the weekend, who wore a long-sleeved polka dot dress while attending an event alongside Prince William.

The trip to Fraser Island, or K’gari as it is known by the Traditional Owners the Butchulla people, will see Harry head to a rainforest where he will take part in a traditional country smoking ceremony.

There, he will unveil a plaque for the dedication of the Forests of K’Gari to the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy (QCC) before travelling to meet local elders and national park rangers.

The QCC raises awareness of indigenous forests, and allows countries in the Commonwealth to exchange knowledge and ideas about the best practice for forest conservation.

The day will conclude with the Duke travelling to Kingfisher Bay for a walkabout along the jetty.
