The Duke and Duchess of Sussex may have only just welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, but now people are predicting that Meghan won’t wait long for baby number two with the odds slashed that we’ll see TWO royal babies in 2020.
According to Express.co.uk, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are both tipped by bookies to give birth next year at odds of just 3/1.
Alex Apati from Ladbrokes said: “We’re anticipating a huge year for the royals in 2020 with not one but two new additions seemingly on their way.”
While some people are thinking it may be a little early for Meghan and Prince Harry to think about welcoming baby number two, the Duke of Sussex hasn’t exactly made it a secret that he wants to expand his family.
Sitting down with anthropologist and icon Dr Jane Goodall for the September issue of British Vogue to discuss the issues facing our climate, the royal revealed he wants two children.
“I think, weirdly, because of the people that I’ve met and the places that I’ve been fortunate enough to go to, I’ve always had a connection and a love for nature. I view it differently now, without question. But I’ve always wanted to try and ensure that, even before having a child and hoping to have children…”
“Two maximum.”
As for Kate, rumours have been swirling that the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William are on the verge of announcing a fourth child to join their family of five.
In May, a royal insider told the Dialy Mail that William and Kate were ready to have another baby: “She is prepared to put herself through another pregnancy even though they have been complicated by severe morning sickness in the past.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge currently have three children – Prince George, six, Princess Charlotte, four and Prince Louis one.
